(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

Patients wife stated ‘’amazing’’ and cried down the phone to me when I told her we were getting her husband admitted to QMC for vascular review. Said she was so happy and relieved and it was all down to the nurse Nikki that her husband was finally going to be ‘’sorted out’’. Said she slept better the previous night knowing he was in good hands and was being taken care of.

Thank you for taking the time to write and share this experience on behalf of the patient’s carer/relative. I’m so glad to hear that Nikki was able to make such a positive difference to the experience of this patient and his wife. I’ve shared this with the vascular surgery team.
