"Four hours and no pain relief"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

My friend recently had a baby at the RLI and I visited her. At the time of the visit, she was in complete agony and had suffering terribly from after birth pains. It took over four hours for the midwives/nurses to bring her two paracetamol.

I have never had a baby at the RLI so don't have first hand experience, but based on what I've seen, it doesn't look good for the mothers or babies. I am due to have a baby soon at this hospital and will post another review when I do. My consultant however is excellent and I cant praise them enough, unfortunately I cant say the same about the midwives.
