"Medication was often left on bedside table"

About: University Hospital (Coventry) / Neurology

(as the patient),

While I was in ward 3 and 1 at the University Hospital Coventry, I got my Parkinson's medication some of the time. I had to check with ward staff as Parkinson's medication was not being given properly. Staff did not know the difference in Sinemet and half Sinemet CR, gave an alternative. I could not manage to take my own medication due to fall (reason for admittance). Medication was often left on bedside table and not administered. I was left for long periods without fluids and was unable to drink fluids other than with a straw. Ordinary cups left on table I could not pick up.
