After falling in York last Wednesday and being seen at the wharfedale hospital in otley I had to attend the fracture clinic at Airedale hospital this morning. It was very busy but the consultant I saw was lovely and arranged for a new cast to be put on my arm which allowed more flexibility of the fingers. I was also able to arrange future appointments which would fit in around holidays. the nurse in the plaster room explained everything they were doing and why. The whole experience was excellent. What a wonderful example of NHS service.
