From arriving at the pre op ward, going through pre op paperwork, having the pre op chat with surgeon and anaesthetist, being escorted to and met at the theatre area, being escorted to the anaesthetic area, waking up post op and being looked after in the recovery area, being transferred to ESA, my stay in ESA until my final discharge was excellent. all the nursing and support staff that I came in contact with were very professional, diligent and courteous and I can't praise them highly enough. having attended York Teaching Hospital on a number of occasions over the last few years and have nothing but praise for the way in which I have been dealt with. My sincere thanks to all the staff in the Urology Department and ESA.
"Massive thanks to all"
