"Confusion about appointment date"

 I had a problem before Christmas where I had to have a camera up my bum. It came to my appointment which was cancelled. They (NHS) gave me another appointment date. I received 6 letters, with different dates and different consultants, so which is the right date?

I had to go to Tameside Hospital as I cannot hear the phone so I went face-to-face to sort out the correct date.

This is the first time it has happened in all my years.

We are really sorry your service user has had cause to raise this concern with Healthwatch.

If you would ask the service user to contact the Pals and Complaints department on 0161 922 4466 or email palsandcomplaints@tgh.nhs.uk so that we can arrange for this to be looked into.
