"Diabetes Appointment not communicated to me AGAIN"

About: Lister Hospital

Last November I posted this review explaining that my appointments were always cancelled and sometimes I never even knew they existed: http://www.nhs.uk/Services/hospitals/ReviewsAndRatings/DefaultView.aspx?id=RWH01&spid=89839&feedbackID=1065935

5 months later it has happened again... I have just received a cancellation for an appointment that I never knew existed. These appointments are so important, diabetic medications need very regular review. Please could you try hard to make sure that all patients are informed when an appointment is made for them. It may just be a problem in endocrinology or may be more widespread. Thanks very very much.

Response from Lister Hospital

We're really sorry that this has happened again, when it clearly shouldn't have.

Would you mind emailing us at generalenquiries.enh-tr@nhs.net so we can get this sorted for you?

It's the least we can do!
