"After 4 and 1/2 months found out my ankle WAS..."

About: Stepping Hill Hospital

Attended A+E four and half months ago after injuring both ankles. Kept on a trolley and made to feel a nuisance for 15hrs. Told to go home because I had only torn my ligaments. Unable to stand to leave the department, this made the staff angry with me because they thought I should be able to hobble - no crutches, no bandage/support on my ankles. Now after four and half months of total agony with the pain and swelling in one of my ankles I have had to give in and attend a different hospital for x=rays. Low and behold my ankle was broken all the time and has set wrong, so probably need an operation to correct it - just waiting for plan. NOT going to Stepping Hill obviously.
