Dear Vito

Thanks for raising this question. I can understand that it might be frustrating that we have a three year limit, when you want to share something from longer ago than that.

Our aim on Patient Opinion is to enable people to resolve current concerns, and to help services learn and improve now.

We're not sure that sharing stories about things which happened long ago will help with that, because services may already have changed or improved, staff may have changed, and it might be hard for anyone to act on feedback about an event long past.

Having said that, if you are aware of a longstanding problem in a service which is still a problem now, then perhaps you have a more recent experience of that problem you can share with us?
