"Bunion Surgery"

I attended Pontefract day surgery unit on 15th April 2016 for a bunion operation. I can honestly say that the staff and the hospital throughout certainly lived up to the excellent reviews I had read beforehand. From the moment I arrived at reception and up to me leaving at the end of the day, I was treat with exceptional respect and care. The nurses were fantastic and very thorough but clear. The surgeons and anaesthetists were amazing and kept me calm and settled throughout. The porters that transferred me to and from theatre were also outstanding and welcoming. I cannot stress enough how pleasurable my experience was although I had a very nervous start to the day. Fantastic treatment. Thank you to all involved.
