"Absolutely useless receptionist and rude staff"

About: St Thomas' Hospital (London)

rude and unhelpful receptionist who was showing attitude and not even looking at you when you asked them a question. Then the same receptionist wrote on a paperwork "back pain" without even mentioning that it's strong. When my friend after 2h waiting came up to the nurse, they said they do it by timing and "priority". So without even seeing me or discussing a matter with me the nurse has decided that it's not emergency.

Disgusted and disappointed.

We take issues of poor staff attitude seriously and will be speaking with the team about this and also the importance of fully recording patients’ descriptions of their symptoms at registration.
