About: University Hospital Monklands / Ear, Nose & Throat (Ward 9)

(as the patient),

Had an afternoon appointment with Audilogy recently . When the nurse arrived all the Audiology rooms were locked and no one had keys and no one could tell the nurse where to get keys. I think this is absolutely appalling it looks as if the clinic will be cancelled and goodness knows when I will get another appointment. Not only that I had to get this appointment as my wife is going in for surgery and will be unable to drive for over a month afterwards. This leaves my in a predicament as I am disabled and no longer able to drive.

The place seems incompetent.

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience at Monklands Hospital, which has been very unsatisfactory for you. Along with the Senior Nurse for Outpatients I will investigate what happened within the department, as there should be no area in the hospital we are unable to access.
