"flexi sigmoidoscopy"

I think it a very cruel way of dealing with patients needing this treatment. I was very nervous about the very invasive and embarrassing uncomfortable procedure. I gritted my teeth to get on with it only to be told I had to come back for a colonoscopy, Surely it would be better to have someone there who could sedate a patient and carry on with the investigation. I am now terrified that I have to go through this procedure again, Whereas, if someone was there it would be all out of the way. I surely am not the only person who feels this way .
