"Brilliant care."

In my opinion The Cardiac Unit at the Lister is one of the jewels of the NHS.

In my week long stay I found resources in this very modern unit to be brilliant. This is further strengthened by the quality of the human resources. Doctors, Nursing staff, and Support workers were all friendly, kind, patient, knowledgeable and seemingly tireless.

In a typically unselfish gesture, medical staff in the Cardiac Labs where my own angioplasty was carried out came in extra over Easter weekend to continue to work through the small waiting list, as there had been a lot of emergency admissions in the previous week.
