"GIC (gender identity clinic) in Daventry..."

What a fantastic clinic. I am receiving help and advice from the best you could wish for, being transgender is a struggle and getting the correct help, but not when you are under the care of the Daventry clinic. They are very helpful, polite and offering assistance for young and old male or female.

All too often, the NHS is criticized and perhaps that is justified in some cases but I would like to praise the service and support I receive and continue to receive from the gender identity clinic in Daventry.

It’s not a local service for me and I travel 2 hours plus to get to my appointments, but I feel it’s worth the time and effort to get there as the service is outstanding. The service has gone from perhaps 70 referrals per year to over 70 per month so the service is trying to grow to meet the needs of people seeking help, so please bear that in mind.

Why so many more people seeking help is a puzzle for the National Health Service I am sure, but the staff at the Denetre hospital are doing all they can to fit patients in. As I say I have found them to be outstanding in all of my appointments treatment and care etc. the building the clinic operates from, is also very good, modern and very clean with free parking at the hospital.
