Having Diabetes means a life time of monitoring your condition. No matter how much you may know about the disease there will always be a need to have a Dr check how your levels are and watch for the complications that may arise. Over the years I have relied on my GP. However recently things had spiralled out of control and it was felt I needed to see the team at the Dumfries Diabetes Centre. A more welcoming team you'd be hard pressed to find. Everyone without exception was friendly and helpful and put me at my ease. Importantly they took time so nothing was rushed or felt like an assembly line. I needed to have some fairly intensive treatment put in place and Dr Green discussed it thoroughly and ensured that if I had any problems could get in touch with the team immediately.
I can't really praise the care given enough!
