"A&E individuals and team work-10/10 on all levels"

About: Northwick Park Hospital

My 86 yr old Dad was brought into the A&E dept on Thursday 14th April at 5pm by two very caring paramedics.

He had sustained a fall in his local High Street whilst out shopping and had hurt his head and hands.

When I arrived at 5.30pm the reception staff were efficient and caring and quickly directed me to his side.

The doctor was not only interested in the obvious injuries but also carried out several investigations as to why Dad had fallen including an ECG, full bloods, ultrasound and a variety of conversational tests.

The nurse who did his ecg called him 'sir' which helped to preserve his dignity in a vulnerable situation.

Overall the staff worked as a close-knit professional team.

We were out of the A&E dept by 8pm after completion of all tests.

Unbelievable service including compassion. 10/10
