My father is currently on Darwin Ward, this is his second visit this year.
The standard of care he has received is unacceptable, he is a frail 85yr old man who cannot walk & requires assistance with most things.
On each visit I have to shave wash & clean his teeth.
His clothing that he is left in is invariably dirty & requires changing.
Clean clothing left goes missing & the standard of updates is non existent if I do not chase with one of the nurses.
The ward cleanliness is very poor.
I have noted a tablet dispenser pot that has been under his neighbours bed for over a week.
There is food stuff all down the sides of my fathers chair.
This is an appalling place & I would urge you not to allow your relatives to be placed here unless absolutely necessary.
"Care & cleanliness unacceptable"
