"Nurses on Pagett Ward were brilliant"

About: Hillingdon Hospital

I turned up for day surgery (wisdom tooth extraction) at 7am.

I am disabled (failed back fusion) and can't sit or stand for long without strong painkillers which I hadn't taken due to having to be nil by mouth. The nurses were very understanding and got me straight to a bed and called the anaesthetist down to see me straight away.

Within an hour I had enough pain relief to settle.

The operation went without a hitch. Recovery in the theatre and back on Pagett ward was easy.

The nurses were kind and caring. Especially the ward sister.

Thank you all.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on your care. I am so pleased that you had a good experience when you came to Pagett for your surgery.

I will pass on your kind comments to the staff.

Sheila Kehoe,

Matron
