After suffering from a sore throat that left my throat so swollen I was choking in my sleep I'd been to my GP and on the phone to them many times and they did not seem to care or offer anything other than painkillers.
I took myself to the A&E after speaking with a Pharmacist and was seen within minutes, listened to and examined properly and then given strong antibiotics.
My throat was improving by the next day.
The nurse was very understanding.
"I was seen quicker here than my local GP!"
