"From Gynaecoloy to the Crisis team and finally the correct diagnosis - Gangrene!"

I was rushed to hospital with severe abdominal pain. I told them it was not gynaeological as I had no bladder pain. I was put on a gynae ward. They ran test and couldnt find anything wrong with my bladder so they sent me home. I was still in immense agony but I have a high pain threshold so did not make a fuss as some others might. I was released to go home in the care of the crisis team????

I was totally lost as to why and still no one explained why. They came the following day and I was writhing in pain. They then called my GP who then sent me straight to hospital. I had a scan for gall stones even though I told them I had, had them removed and I even had keyhole scars to prove it. The scan didnt prove anything and then I was sent for a ct scan. It was then I got laid flat and taken straight to theatre with gangrene to the bowel. The ambulance staff made me walk to the ambulance until they took my pulse and then made me lay down. I was then made to sit in a wheelchair until all tests had been done. I am not angry they didnt find that, as it is not common to have that, but I wasnt listened to at all by staff and I think this is because I have MH problems. I didnt want to sue as I care about NHS but I wanted respect at least.
