"Exceptional care, professionalism & care!"

Having been admitted for routine ovarian and Fallopian tube removal (12/04/2016), from original appointment to aftercare from the operation, I have to say my care has been second to none!

My consultant has to be one of the most professional, kind, caring and supportive consultants I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They were very informative throughout the whole experience. I would love this feedback sent directly to them and their team. I would like to also express my thanks to the professionalism of the recovery staff, particularly the nurse who sat with me for two hours due to my blood pressure being low and sitting by my side at all times. I don't believe the "back office" staff after operations get much praise! Also to all the staff out on the wards, housekeepers, porters, nurses, matrons etc working 13 hour shifts who are exhausted still always had a smile for you! What you don't think about is that when they leave your bedside and probably caught by another patient that takes them over their shift time, they then have a family at home to be with but are too exhausted! I would like a certain politician to walk the wards with some of these remarkable staff! God bless you all, your all angels in uniforms/scrubs! All the best! Lynne Buglass
