"total lack of communication and care"

About: Darlington Memorial Hospital

Totally discussed with my mums treatment, not kept in hospital after a procedure, even though she was told she would be kept in over night, due to the risks. Re-admitted 2 days later with complications from the surgery, which in turn caused pneumonia.

Supposed to be nil by mouth, was still brought food for a further 2 days. When one of her medications was sent up in tablet former instead of liquid, the nurse insisted she take it.

Mum ended up in hospital for 8 weeks severely ill for most of her stay.

I would never recommend a stay in Darlington Memorial

Hospital!
