"Cataract Operation"

About: Nuffield Health, Shrewsbury Hospital

The medical care was excellent (once it arrived) but the admission procedures are poor, with long delays before attention, made worse by being required to arrive far too early.

The letter re the operation was generic and contained instructions that were later countermanded by a receptionist on the phone.

In these days of computerisation, why is there not a specific letter for a specific condition?

It is such a waste of time for someone to have to phone to correct an earlier letter.
