"My Mum"

About: Macclesfield District General Hospital

My mum was taken to hospital this morning after passing out at the care home and I cannot thank enough everyone from the paramedics, doctor and nurses at Macclesfield Hospital, who looked after her.

It is quite difficult trying to look after an elderly woman who is blind and has Alzheimers and can be quite strong willed when someone wants to do something that she doesn't want to happen.

For such a small woman she can be very strong! She is now back at the care home on fine form. In my opinion the NHS cannot be faulted and looked after her with compassion, great care and without delay. Thanks to the paramedics, doctor, nurses and ambulance drivers. Well done to you all and the cup of tea was good too!

Many thanks for taking the time to tell us about your mother's recent experience of our services. It's great to know you were so happy with her care and she's recovered well - and you enjoyed the tea!

Thanks again for providing your feedback.
