"Disgusting Treatment."

The crisis team here are a joke, they never turn up, they never contact you if there are any issues, the consultant refuses to see you even after three MDT meetings. I've actually discharged myself and I am having to move back down south away from my family and support network just so I can get the help that I need. I've contacted PALS as I believe some of there nurses need a competency review.

We are sorry that you feel that you were provided with a less than satisfactory response from our crisis team.

The aim of the crisis service is to provide safe and effective support and care to people who are experiencing mental health difficulties.

The service offers timely assessment and periods of intensive home treatment until the crisis is resolved.

This routinely includes medical reviews.

We would welcome the details of your experience and the issues you have raised so that we can explore why you did not receive this level of service we would normally expect.

If you would like to discuss this matter in further detail please contact Patient Experience Lead Nurse, Corinne.Aspel@nhs.net 0191 333 3566.
