"Complaint response times and lack of services"

About: Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I have taken the decision to formally complain about the lack of personality disorder services provided by Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust (particularly in the wake of the links psycho-educational group and the 2B project being axed) and one has to wonder exactly why it can take up to 25 working days for a straightforward response and - hopefully - a remedy for the problem. I'm not going to just go away, I think the trust needs to have a serious look at reintroducing a resource for people with this diagnosis or, in fact, it's not adequate to provide mental health care at all. It's like saying you'll only treat one type of diabetes or you're only prepared to treat certain cancers. I just don't think it's acceptable, book your ideas up!
