What I liked
Relaxed friendly attitude of all staff from receptionists through to consultants.I was kept updated at all times and was re-assured to have so many bedside visits from members of the team.
The standard of food was good and distributed with a smile.
Nursing care was excellent nothing too much trouble.
What could be improved
Nurses were working under pressure due to staff shortage.
Ward F7 Block H was very cold due to badly fitting windows.
Lack of communication between theatre/wards with new patients arriving at mealtimes.
