"Great care from Crawley Surgical Short Stay Unit"

About: Crawley Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

Attended for a minor operation, on the day the staff were all extremely professional, caring and attentive.

They looked after both my wife and myself, keeping her informed at all times, and even provided lovely refreshments for her during her wait for me.

This 'story' may be short and sweet but I felt I needed to recognise how great they are at this unit, especially in times of NHS careers/staff getting knocked in the press, they are truly second to none.

If anyone is concerned about attending the short stay surgical unit, then please don't be, I have never had better treatment, even when I was able to have private care.

We know coming into hospital can be stessful for patients and their families and it's great to hear both you and your wife were happy with the care and support the team in our day surgery unit gave you.
