"Social Inclusion and Wellbeing Service"

About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / Adult Mental Health Services - Community (City)

(as a volunteer/advocate),

My experience of the Social Inclusion and Wellbeing Service has been really good and positive. It has helped me no end. I was thinking of looking for voluntary work, but I wasn’t sure how to start. Sangita introduced me to the Hospice Shop and it’s a really nice place to work. The staff and customers are very friendly. It has given me some structure to the week, kept me out of the pub and given me something to do. I go the same two days every week. It has got me out and about and I’ve met new people.

Nothing could have been done better. There has been help to support me in the job. My sister has noticed a difference. I seem more positive, happier in mood.

I would recommend it to anyone.
