"Went to General rheumatology department"

I went with my mother for an appointment with a consultant in the General Rheumatology department. They rushed her appointment through with the explanation there is no cure for her rheumatoid arthritis. There was no compassion and understanding from the staff especially the consultant. We really felt as we were animals. We waited for the appointment for a long time and all hope has just gone. My mother’s assessment lasted no more than 5 minutes, which includes BP measurements and writing a prescription for painkiller. The entrance door was shown as a good bye.
