As the clerk led me through the doors I was met by a scene which resembled Scutari, with the corridor full of sick and unhappy looking people on hospital trollies. hardly confidence inspiring! 6 hours later I left feeling that my own treatment was adequate, but that I had been in a department perhaps at its limits.
