"My elderly mother was admitted ..."

About: Kettering General Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

My elderly mother was admitted as an emergency on 20th January to the Resus Ward and then transferred later that day to Middleton Ward. She was gravely ill and received excellent treatment from all the staff who looked after her. Everyone was also very kind to myself and the rest of the family who were very upset. I do not believe she could have received better treatment anywhere.

What could be improved

She was transferred to Harrowden C from Middleton and unfortunately it seemed that they were very short staffed and were struggling to cope with the workload although the staff did work extremely hard.

Anything else?

Mum now at home - many thanks to all staff who looked after her during her stay.
