About: St Mary's Hospital (Manchester)

The care and professionalism of all the staff was superb. I was treated with great respect and dignity. All midwifes and nurses, anaesthesistsand consultants have been supportive and helpful. I had a long labour and was cared and supported for days and night by understanding and never tired or dismissive staff.The hospital is clean and the infrastructure impressive. The service is to be proud of for the whole NHS.

Thank you for your comments posted on the Patient Opinion website regarding your care within Saint Mary’s Maternity Hospital. It was very kind of you to write and compliment the medical and midwifery staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of all our staff. It was reassuring to hear that you felt you were treated with respect and dignity and that the team were able to provide that level of support and understanding so necessary to a positive patient experience. I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to Mrs Kathy Murphy, Head of Nursing and Midwifery and the staff involved. We have also taken the opportunity to pass your views on to our colleagues in the domestic services who will be pleased to note their efforts have been appreciated.
