We attended a&e at Royal hospital this evening with my 86 year old dad. My dad has Myelodysplasia syndrome & we have been advised to be aware of any signs of infection.
We presented due to my dad having signs of water infection from his catheter.
The care we received was of the highest standard & caused my dad the least amount of distress
We appreciate how extremely hard working & how busy this department is.
We were taken through to avoid having to wait in extremely busy waiting area to reduce the amount of contact for my dad with infection risk.
Thank you so much for your very high standard of care & treatment of my dad.
