"Difficulty getting lumps investigated."

In January this year a lump appeared in my chest, over a couple of weeks the lump grew and the area became discoloured. I made an appointment with my doctor who diagnosed a Lipoma, fatty tissue,I asked why the area was discoloured, the doctor did not answer that question but replied are you concerned? I replied yes, as I had been taught that when unexplained lumps appear you should be concerned.

The docter refered me to a specialist, I decided to research the term Lipoma, and there was no way what I had was that. Some weeks later after I had made several phone calls I finally got the appointment with a foreign specialist who's command of english was not too good, he referred me to another specialist, as he wanted the lump seen to as soon as possible, but he was too busy.

Some weeks later the second specialist saw me, and because he could not understand the case notes he did not know what was expected, my wife suggested that a biopsy might be a reasonable starting point, the second specialist agreed and some weeks later that was performed by aother surgeon. He expressed concern with the size and colour of the lump saying he had never seen such a thing in 18 years of practice and no way was it a lipoma. The biopsy was difficult as the lump was "like a rock", closing the wound also was difficult. Several other lumps have appeared on my chest, back and arms, I'am awaiting the biopsy results.
