I fell on the ice just before Christmas & was taken to Charing Cross Hospital at my request from Chiswick. The ambulance men were first-class in moving me. I was operated on the next day by Dr. Naique and can only say that the operation & treatment was first-class. As I was in the hospital over the Christmas & New Year holiday, there was a certain shortage of staff, whereas others had come in on their day off
(even on Christmas Day!), but all tried their best. I came home after ten days but returned later to have the clips removed. Everyone agreed that the surgery was excellent & the surgeon even phoned me at home on three occasions to answer queries I had left. I do my excercises at home & have to return at the end of this month for an X-ray to establish the result. I would not have wished to go to any other hospital & can only recommend what I have experienced.
