"Big thankyou"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

I just wanted to say a big thankyou. My husband has seizures and we came into the medical assessment unit and from the moment we got there they were wonderful, some of the nurses had been working for nearly 12 hours but they were amazing.

When we were on holiday my husband had a seizure and fell on the floor and even though it was midnight the paramedics came out and took us to Truro hospital and they all bent over backwards for us.

I have no idea how they do it. We are just so grateful.

Hi Blank738

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us - I hope your husband is well recovering well

It is always rewarding to hear stories of how our staff are delivering care and support to patients, and those around them, when they need it most.

We would be happy to share your story with the ambulance staff involved in your husband's care, however to do so we will need some specific information. If you would like us to do this, please may I ask you to contact us on either plaudits@swast.nhs.uk or 01392 453 831 and a member of the Patient Engagement Team will be happy to help you further.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to provide us with feedback.

Kind regards

Sara
