I attended A&E on March 17 & 24 with an infected hand. The receptionist was polite & helpful. I was seen by Triage Nurse who was very professional & kind. After a wait I was seen by a Dr who tried to get as much puss out as they could the pain was excruciating but they were very sympathetic and kind. Sadly I was referred back to A&E on 24th. It was very busy but when I was seen by the Dr they were unhurried & referred me to an Orthopaedic Dr who saw me very quickly and was very kind & professional. They gave me an appointment for Clinic 11 today (29th). I was seen almost immediately and the Dr was very pleasant and professional. The Nurse who redressed my hand did a brilliant job and was extremely pleasant. I'm being seen by another Department still at the Hospital and have been a regular at the Hospital since 1986 & on the whole I can't fault any Department.
