"2 yr old in long queue for removal of enlarged..."

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital

My 2 years old was diagnosed with enlarged adenoid glands when we took him over to paediatric ENT a month ago. (we waited for this appointmet for 2 months). He has been suffering difficult breathing all day long esp at night from past 6/7 months, he cant sleep and keeps struggling to breath through mouth or nose. keeps crying and waking up several times.

we were told he would undergo a surgery within 2 months, and after a month now we didn't receive any letter from hospital. I called this morning and got told there is no confirmed appointment made for him yet, and that 27th of May seems the date he might hv the op. asked me to call back tomorrow and see if that day has been confirmed for him. or given any other date (even late).

This made me feel terrible. If it was something that I could wait for I wouldn't worry much. Seeing him this disturbed and now waiting another 2 months and me being helpless, has left me in tears.

I don't know how long I ll hv to see my kid suffer.

not sure who to take this matter up with at RBH.
