"Amazing service - couldn't be happier"

I gave birth to my son at Basingstoke back in December. I cannot thank my midwife and student midwife enough; they were so friendly and remained calm and reassuring throughout. My labour didn't go to plan and ended in an emergency section, but all of the staff I encountered as a result of this were fantastic - everyone made me feel comfortable while working hard to deliver my baby safely. I was particularly touched that the midwife came to see me at the end of their shift to see how I was doing, I felt this was above and beyond what would be expected and is something I really appreciated at the end of a very eventful day.

I stayed on the ward for 2 days after giving birth, and I couldn't fault any member of staff who cared for my baby and me during our stay. All were professional, courteous and friendly.

I have recommended Basingstoke maternity services to many people since my visit!
