The young staff nurse who I went to find was very helpful and caring with my Granddad but only after I went to find someone

What could be improved

I arrived to find my Granddad - who is almost 90 -sat beside an open window in a dirty nightshirt, so he had bare legs, shaking with cold and wrapped in one thin blanket. He said he had been cold all day, and the previous day and his blanket was wet. He was also covered in bruises from wrist to elbow from where the nurses had tried to insert an IV the day before which he said were very sore. He has been in the hospital 3 weeks and 4 days ago developed a UTI 2which would indicate to me that he has been allowed to dehydrate.
