I was given an appointment time of 11: 00 in the eye department and was seen at 1: 30. I was told the the Doctor had been called away on an emergency. I can't see the point in making an appointment with a Doctor that might not even be there.
I was not impressed that the waiting area was on a bridge in the Atrium (with the fire door wedged open which I'm sure the fire officer would have something to say about). Even though it is March there was a fan in the waiting area due to the heat through the glass, pity anyone getting an appointment in the summer.
It was obviously built as a ward, I was shown to Bedroom 1 which is being used as a treatment room. I hate to think how much the NHS paid some one to design the building only for it to be used differently.
