"Lower Limb Cats Clinic"

About: Hillingdon Hospital

I had been experiencing pain in my left knee after several arthroscopies had removed loose and torn cartilage. My GP arranged for me to visit specialist in the Lower Limb Cats Clinic to see if they agreed that an injection of Durolane would be beneficial.

I had an appt at Hillingdon Hospital at 10 am yesterday morning. I got there early and at 9.50 they called me as the 9.30 didn't turn up. The specialist sent me for an x ray which was done in 5 minutes and went back to be shown that the left knee joint was bone on bone! They called in the consultant ortho surgeon next door to see the x rays and he said he would inject right away. By 11 am I was walking back to the car park. Fantastic service by the NHS. Thanks
