"Trying to get a same day appointment is a waste..."

The new telephone system is a joke, after waiting on the emergency line for nearly 30 minutes in a queue, i got to position 1 and was then kicked off! This has happened the last 3 times i have tried to get an "urgent" appointment. Very disappointing to say the least! the staff are lovely but the system clearly isn't working! This system will force people to attend A and E! And requesting a call back is a waste of time either - being called back at 5pm on the day i called is a waste of time!! Please sort this out, if you are in extreme pain like i am today it's just not good enough in any way shape or form.
