"Very disappointed with my follow up examination"

About: Scunthorpe General Hospital

I had a follow up appointment today at the hospital at 10.10am with the consultant when I arrived in their room only to be greeted by another Dr, who asked me questions about my left knee. I told the doctor I had an MRI scan back in February and the consultant was supposed to be here today and give me the results of the scan, in my previous meeting with the consultant, they told me I had torn my anterior cruxicate ligament and would put me down as urgent on the waiting list. My complaint isn't about the consultant because I found them a pleasant and very professional, I just can't believe I've been told it could be six months before I could have an operation. I understand how busy and how big the waiting list could be but for the Dr who seen me today not even examine or look at or show me my MRI results is not very professional at all. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement I just think now I've got to struggle on and go thru pain for 6 months before I'm looked at again thanks. Noel Mcburney.
