"Care of elderly relative"

About: North Tyneside General Hospital

I was very impressed in the way that my Mum aged 96 was cared for in her recent one and a half week stay in hospital after collapsing on a day out. The staff made 100% sure that appropriate health care support was in place before she was discharged into her own home. This had previously been a problem for the family as she had consistently refused to have any care in place.

Dear Sir/ Madam ,

Many thanks for your review. I'm delighted that your 96 year old Mum was welcomed onto our wards and cared for well by staff who understood her needs. I can imagine just how much it means to your Mum to be able to return home to independent living - I'm so pleased that proactive ward staff and responsive community support has made this possible for her.

Please give her our best wishes and do come back to us if there's anything you need as a family.

Annie
