About: The Essex Cardiothoracic Centre

My husband and our family were treated with total respect during his stay at the Cardio unit. He was helped to relax even while facing life saving treatment. When he was in the ICU we were all kept informed of everything that was being done for him and what to expect. The staff from top surgeons and nurses through to cleaning staff were amazing and very helpful. Thank you for all you have done for my husband and his family hardly expresses our gratitude for this wonderful facility but thank you a thousand times over. You are the NHS at its best and you are right to be proud of the work you do and the way you do it.

As a footnote I would like to any even the food was tasty, varied and hot. .
