What I liked

I WAS A PATIENT ON WARD 10 FOR 2 WEEKS. THE STAFF: DOCTORS, NURSES AND CLEANERS WERE ALL VERY PROFESSIONAL AND TRIED TO HELP ALL THEY COULD EVEN WHEN VERY BUSY. I WAS QUITE ILL AFTER MY OPERATION AND THE CARE I RECEIVED WAS VERY GOOD.

What could be improved

THE TOILETS. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH TOILET FACILITIES ON THE WARD. (ONE TOILET BETWEEN FIVE PATIENTS IN A BAY).THIS SITUATION NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, AS PATIENTS WHO ARE ILL DO NOT NEED THE ADDED PROBLEM AND DISTRESS OF WAITING FOR THE TOILET TO BECOME FREE.

THE FOOD QUALITY PARTICULARLY THE BREAKFAST, COULD BE BETTER. SERVING BREAKFAST CEREALS THAT ARE NOT RECOGNISED BRAND NAMES PROBABLY CREATES MORE WASTE FOOD AS PEOPLE DO NOT EAT IT.
