"Cataract care"

About: Pontefract General Infirmary

My father attended this hospital in September about his cataracts. He was tested and found that one eye had high eye pressure.

He was given eye drops to put in one eye, each day, for four weeks.

He is still waiting for a return appointment.

I have telephoned the hospital booking several times since as has my father's Doctors surgery. On each occasion we have been told that there is no capacity and he is on a partial booking list.

six months later he is still having the eye drops and still hasn't got a return appointment..

He is 88 years of age.

This isn't good enough.

we would be pleased to arrange for this matter to be investigated if the family would like to contact us directly.
